Idaho's Governor, GE and Partners Launch State's Largest Wind Power Project
Bringing jobs and clean energy to Idaho, on August 24, 2010 GE Energy Financial Services and its partners celebrated the start of construction of the Idaho Wind Partners project comprising 11 wind farms. With a price tag of almost half a billion dollars, the portfolio of wind farms is Idaho's largest wind power project, with the capacity to generate 183 megawatts, enough to power approximately 39,700 average Idaho homes.
